It was my first time at your Santa Monica store and I cannot get over how helpful and wonderful the store is as a whole. You all had everything I could ever need and one of your employees, a younger girl Lily was extremely helpful with getting me set up with everything. She even sold me on a membership which I am excited to use. I am both impressed with the store and employees like Lily who keep customers happy!! Will be returning soon:)

What a great shop. They have everything you need if you want to go to experience the outdoors. Very friendly staff as well. Celeste, in particular, helped me finding what I was looking for very quickly.

There's no parking here. The shop employees are unkind because they don't know how to do their jobs. If our bikes aren't working properly then we can be seriously injured. REI doesn't hire good shop staff. The person they have back there has no business being in a shop. His name is Eric.

Large hiking and travel store. Very quiet. Good quality, but expensive. They carry North Face, for example.

The Santa Monica store has more of the pricier things in stock due to it's location. It would be smart to use the website to see if a location has what you want in stock. This store is well lit and has a roomy layout which make it easy to navigate around in. Staff is always helpful and can be found whenever you need assistance or have questions about an item. This one has an upstairs.

I generally really enjoy shopping at rei. I’m usually at the Manhattan beach location but sometime I go to Santa Monica since it is a bit closer. There is always someone at the SM location with a bit of a superiority complex or I’m better than you attitude. Might be the bike shop, sales staff, or the cashier. Since you sell National Park passes please tell your staff that they can also be used as parking passes at some public lands in addition to passes to enter national parks.

Anyting and everything for backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, traveling, and just being outdoors. This REI in Santa Monica is big, and super clean. Great social distancing taking place.
